Camera processing

Gesture Synth uses your browser's camera permission to recognize hand positions in real time. Video frames and hand landmarks are processed locally on your device. We do not transmit, record, store, or sell camera footage or biometric information.

Audio

Sound is generated locally by the Web Audio API. The site does not access your microphone and does not record your performance.

Site data

The first version does not require an account and does not use advertising cookies. Cloudflare may process ordinary request and performance data to deliver and protect the website.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visits and page usage. It may process information such as viewed pages, browser and device type, approximate location, and analytics identifiers. Advertising storage and ad personalization are disabled. Camera footage, hand landmarks, and synthesized audio are never sent to Google Analytics.

Your control

You can stop the camera from the instrument controls, close the page, or revoke camera permission in your browser settings at any time.
